Your website is often the first impression a customer gets — and first impressions are hard to undo. If any of these sound familiar, it might be time for a refresh.
1. It's slow to load
People leave a page that takes more than a few seconds to load. If your site feels sluggish, you're losing visitors before they ever see what you offer. A modern rebuild almost always makes a site dramatically faster.
2. It looks broken on a phone
More than half of web traffic is on mobile. If visitors have to pinch and zoom, or buttons are hard to tap, that's a real problem. A good site is designed for the phone first.
3. You can't update it yourself
If changing a phone number or adding a photo means calling a developer (or worse, no one at all), your site is working against you. You should be able to make everyday edits in a couple of clicks.
4. It doesn't reflect your business anymore
Businesses grow and change. If your site still shows old services, outdated photos, or a logo you've moved on from, it's sending the wrong message.
5. It's just not bringing in leads
At the end of the day, your site should help your business. If it isn't turning visitors into calls, emails, or bookings, something in the design or the message needs to change.
If you read this and winced once or twice, that's okay — it just means there's room to grow. A refresh doesn't have to mean starting completely over, and it's usually more affordable than people expect. Get in touch and I'll take a look at your current site for free.
